Wonderstruck Festival Rebrand

For this project I decided to give myself the challenge of picking a local event and giving it a refreshing new look with both online and in person products and media. The event I chose is a music festival that is hosted in Cleveland, Ohio every summer and is currently having trouble organizing the coming event. I illustrated two concert posters, one announcing the performers and the other advertising the event. Both of these illustrations I adjusted to be able to make social media posts with. Finally I created merchandise that could be sold at the festival.

I utilized colors based off of the festival’s instagram page and drew inspiration from both vintage and current summer festival posters. I wanted to curate this rebrand towards the teen to late twenties age demographic and I strove to create an atmosphere of a light carefree summer.

This project was purely to challenge myself and is not being used in the actual festival. The illustrations that make up the posters, media posts, and merchandise were created by me, the mockups of the products were created by a separate mockup artist.
